The best deal i've been able to get for a long time. As a long time DE shaver I must say that for an average beard like mine they were excellent, good and sharp and good for 4 great smooth shaves per blade . Vastly outperforms 7AM and SUPERMAX.

I give these blades a 5 for the value. They aren't a Feather, but they aren't a Dorco ether. I see them as a middle-of-the-pack type of blade in terms of sharpness and quality. For $25.95 for 100 very shave-able, mid-grade blades, you really can't go wrong.

Astras provide my with some of the smoothest shaves I have ever had with any of my DE razors. Whether in a mild Weishi, vintage Slim, or Merkur 38C, I get a near BBS every time with a 3-pass (WTG, XTG, ATG) shave. These are my preferred blades.

Astra is my regular blade. I prefer them to Derby, Lord, Dorco, and even Feather. While not as sharp as Feather, Astra is more forgiving. It is a good quality blade which provides a consistently close shave at a fraction of the price of a Feather. One Astra blade lasts me 3 or 4 days.

These blades are my favorites after trying Derby, Dorco, Personna, and Feather. I find Astra's are sharp, not quite as sharp as a feather, and smooth. These blades seem to just glide across my skin where others would pull or tug. I took off a star because some blades in a pack will be rough and I'll discard them right away. I find this inconsistent quality with all blades I have tried, not just Astra's. So if you try a new blade and it starts tearing up your face, try changing the blade right away and see if that makes a difference.

The best all-around blade I've used...although I've only tried Derby's, Lord Platinum's, SHARP's, and some vintage Gillettes and Wilkinson Swords. It slides and slices with ease, but cuts very little compared to the other blades I mentioned. Best starter's blade, and great everyday blade.

I purchased 100 Astra blades because I liked them so much. However, I am noticing that as I get to the end of my supply, the quality has diminished (instead of getting 3-4 shaves, I am only getting two quality shaves and the blades is rougher on my face.) I wonder if the quality of the blade deteriorates over time and perhaps it is not a good idea to order such a large supply.

With great regret I purchased these blades they work if you don't mind turning your face into raw hamburger. I am ready to throw away my remaining 90 blades. Although I had to give them a 1 star rating to post this I would actually call them a .25 of a star.
