Product Description

High quality, extremely sharp Feather double-edge safety razor blades in new black packaging. These blades have provided enjoyable shaves to many experienced wet-shavers. The general consensus in the wet-shaving community is that these are the sharpest blades available today. Will fit all modern double-edge safety razors: Merkur, Parker, Edwin Jagger, Weishi, etc.

We are often asked what is the difference between the Black and Yellow Feather blades dispensers. Feather Japan as well as their North American distributor have confirmed, in several occasions, that the blades are identical. The only difference lies in how they are packaged: black Feathers come in 5-blade packs while each yellow Feather pack contains 10 blades.

Feathers have gained a fearsome reputation as a super sharp blade which is not for beginners. I agree that they are a sharp blade, but honestly, you need to pay attention with any blade you put to your face. I find they provide a very nice smooth shave and only their cost prevents them from being my go-to blade. However, I always have some in my stockpile. Note: Black and Yellows are the same blade. Blacks are 5 blades/pack; yellows are 10.
