Great set. Brush, cream, soap are solid!. The mug however, handle broke off. Dont know how it happened but its still fine!

After doing a bunch of research into wet shaving, I found this website and this particular shaving set. Everything you'd need to attempt wet shaving is included in this set. It's a good base for anyone thinking of moving away from those other multi-bladed razors and moving to a more leisurely, enjoyable male grooming experience. The razor, brush and included blades are are gentle enough for a new user. The soap, used in conjunction with the brush, create an outstanding lather that will protect your face while shaving. Also include is a tube of Prorasso which I have yet to try but considering the rest of this kit, I'm sure it will be fantastic as well. If you're considering dipping your toes into wet shaving, buy this; you won't regret it.

What a great purchase this was! The Merkur 34C is a thing of beauty and wonderful to work with. The Proraso Shaving Cream is soothing and invigorating. The mug just looks cool and those Astra blades are super sharp! Buy this set and be happy for a very long time. The only things I'd add to your list is a pre/post cream (I recommend Proraso Pre-Post Shaving Cream) and a bunch of extra blades. Every time I go to shave, I smile at having such a sweet shaving set up :) You will too.

Being new to wet shaving I had waited all week for this package to arrive. I was not disappointed. Not only was the package here in 6 days, but everything was exactly how it was shown on the website. Very reasonably priced in my opinion, and even received a few free samples. Great service. I will definitely be a life time customer.
