Product Description

This English Bridle Leather Strop is 21" long (stropping area), which sets it apart from the rest. The length of its surface brings down the number of passes needed to prepare your razor to slow the wear of the leather, increasing the life of the strop. Made in Canada from hand-picked, top quality leather, sourced from the United States.

Felt has been chosen for the secondary stropping surface, as it works extremely well with or without paste. The felt responds well to Chromium Oxide and tends to retard leakage better that other materials such as linen or canvas.

Our English Bridle Leather Strop comes fitted with Chicago screws, standard issue in most strops. This provides convenience when changing or replacing a damaged felt strop.

This is my first strop it does a great job. Without it, I could not get my straight razors sharp enough for passing the hanging hair test. It is wide enough to strop all my straight razors with no problem. It is definitely worth the money and I had no problems so far.
