Bruce Barrington and Dain McG have captured the essence of this remarkable product in their earlier reviews. I used only the tiny amount clinging to the protective plastic lid liner and with a few flicks of my brush, I had a hand full of thick, rich lather that was exuding the most exhilarating scent of freshly cut lime! You will not have to work very hard with this cream to create a moist lather. Based on this very positive first experience with Lime Oil, I will try the other fragrances in Castle Forbes.

I concur with Dain. Wonderful key lime scent that opens up when you produce lather. Very little is required for the lather. About two peas worth for 3 passes on the face. I was impressed as I put it on my face for the first time as it has a wonderful soft creamy texture. As to expense, true it is much more expensive than Prorato but only marginally so against D.R. Harris or Geo. F Trumper. So it's high-end and you get what you pay for but it is cost-effective given the amount you have to use. I would buy it again.

I just recently received this cream, and I have used it twice now. This stuff is absolutely incredible... Definitely the best cream I have ever used! The lime scent is true to real limes; I haven't tried Trumper's limes yet, but this blows the Taylor lime scent out of the water. It is more expensive than either of those though. It's a large tub, and you don't need as much of this stuff per shave so I see it lasting a long while.
