Product Description

This apothecary-style shaving mug makes whipping up a rich lather out of your favorite shaving soap or cream a breeze. Its high, wide rim gives you freedom of motion while minimizing spills. Black porcelain with white Fendrihan mark.

Many of our customers found that storing the shaving soap and/or lathering is much easier and less wasteful when using an Apothecary mug. The contoured contoured knob on Fendrihan's apothecary shaving mug makes for a natural and comfortable grip. It will fit 2 1/2" sized shaving soaps. Larger soaps can be shaved on the side until they fit and the soap flakes can be used to make an excellent, thick lather. Can also be used to make lather from shaving creams.

Diameter: Base 3 1/4" (8.2 cm)
Top 4 1/4" (10.7 cm)
Height: 3 1/4" (8.2 cm)

I have been looking for a mug like this for a while and none of the retailers that catered to men's shaving products carried any; I'm glad Fendrihan does. I love that this mug is large enough to give me freedom of movement when whipping up lather. Great quality.

I just recieved the classic apothecary shaving mug. It's my first mug and I must say it is very very easy to whip up a nice thick lather...I use shaving creams. The mug retains heat well although I set the entire mug into my sink with hot water while I shave. When I am ready for re-applying, the lather is very nice and warm thus providing me with a great second pass. The mug looks great. Highly recommended

This was a very good product the only issue is that it is very brittle and when I moved I packed it with soft stuff but it still managed to shatter. If you have any intent to transfer it, it may be wise to hang onto it's box for added protection from weight related pressure.

I love it and it's of great quality. I have been using it as a soap holder more than to create lather lately as the Tailor of Old Bond lathers very easily.

This mug looks excellent, and assists is creating a superb lather. Works well with both creams or soaps, and the raised areas on the bottom make anyone a lather pro. Highly recommend this mug. Ken

The mug is pretty good quality and is a good size. It appears to be made of ceramic. It looks good, nice and shiny black. Overall a good product.

This mug is great. It tapers enough at the top so you don't hit your hands or brush handle against it while lathering. Something worth mentioning though is that on the inside base, there is a groove that kinda of traps lather and can be difficult to rinse/clean.
