i just got this brush in the mail, this brush smells bad, like some kind of dye, i've shampooed it a few times, and the smell seems to be fading, but i definitely wouldn't buy it again.

You won't find a better brush at this price. This brush is quite versatile. Depending on how you use it, this brush can be very gentle or, if you want a little preshave exfoliation, can provide a vigorous scrub. Excellent backbone. Lathers beautifully. Well made and, with a little care, should last many, many years. Buy with confidence.
