I got a Fendrihan Classic Pure Grey badger brush at the beginning for $25.75 and I thought that it was ok but a little prickly. It also took about 5-6 days of washing it, dipping it for many hours at a time in vinegar solutions, soap dish and every other type of liquid or bar soap to get rid of the disgusting animal smell, before I was finally able to use it. It still stung but way less. It was feeling more prickly by the time I was applying the lather for the 3rd time getting ready for the ATG and final save. That make me thing of the Silvertip but they are so expensive in general except the Fendrihan brand which I finally ordered. Only $30 more and the difference is night and day. NO smell from the get go, fantastic lather and feels amazingly smooth on the face. Great deal. I don't know how much better the much more expensive ones could they be. Can you be better than perfect? I'm ordering a second Fendrihan Sirvertip right after this review for the second bathroom since I tossed the Pure one in the garbage.

Fantastic. After a nice soak in hot water, it feels like I'm applying my shaving cream lather with a warm cloud. Looks great on my chrome stand beside my Merkur 38C Barber Pole! Highly recommend, especially at this price. Ken
