The Dovo "Buffalo" straight razor is set in extra large genuine buffalo horn scales, shaped into a handsome, curved silhouette. The 5/8 full hollow ground carbon steel blade is gold-washed and etched with the Solingen name and iconography. Its spine is also decorated and gold plated.

My girlfriend bought me this razor for Christmas (she knew that I had my eye on a similar one) and I have to say that this is hands down the best straight razor that I have used. It holds an edge beautifully. Also the size of both the tang and the shank allow me to hold this razor much easier than all the other razors that I own. The horn scales are also very impressive, although the are not quite straight which means that I have to be careful to guide the blade into the slot when closing the razor for storage. Overall, I would suggest anyone who is considering this razor to just go ahead and buy it. You will not regret this purchase. CPS
