I got this as I travel a lot and I wanted a set for the road. I wasn't too sure what to expect at first when I was ordering it. I have to say that this. The head actually screws off and goes into the casing. The top cover has 5 holes with one middle larger one that will prevent the brush from having mildew. My first impression is that the handle part (the cover that will screw back into the head) is a tad long and will get some getting used to. It looks very nice and classy though.

Not the best for air travel unless it goes in checked baggage. As part of carry on, the metal cylindrical shape is a conversation item for security checks. The plastic version may be better at passing inspection through x-ray machines. Otherwise, a great brush for shaving when not at home.

Bought this brush about a year ago. Generally like it, but there is one big BUT... Since it is metal, traveling with it in the carry-on through airport security is a pain. Every single trip I took it, my luggage went through examination after the scanners... I gave up and bought a different travel brush..
