Feathers have gained a fearsome reputation as a super sharp blade which is not for beginners. I agree that they are a sharp blade, but honestly, you need to pay attention with any blade you put to your face. I find they provide a very nice smooth shave and only their cost prevents them from being my go-to blade. However, I always have some in my stockpile.
