This is a follow-up to a review I made on 6/15/2010. My previous review was rather harsh and, in retrospect, I wish it were retractable. I have used the trimmer many times since then and I have had no trouble with it whatsoever. I truly can't explain what I was doing with it in order to get such poor results. Now that I have 'learned' how to use it properly, it is an indispensable item in my shaving kit. Smooth action, well built, stays sharp and, IT WORKS! Sorry for the poor review, Fendrihan - please, go ahead and delete my previous comments if you are able to.

Great well built product, but its only gonna do 80% of the job. Sometime i need to finish the job with scissors. But for the 80%, its fast so i still use it. I do recommend it.

Excellent unit, elegant in it's simplicity. I like the two handed use, as it allows for very precise control. Given it's simplistic nature (but very well manufactured and precise fitting), I see this tool lasting beyond my personal expiry date.

It cuts your nose hairs! It cuts your ear hairs! I bet it would cut other hairs too, but there are razors for that. It doesn't need batteries, it's relatively cheap, it seems pretty much indestructible and it does what is says it does quite well (that is, it cuts nose hair). If you are looking for something that does not cut nose hair, this is not the product for you.

Just got this trimmer. Incredible! Works without issue and very well I have to admit. I used my rechargeable beard trimmer to take care of ear and nose hair until this arrived. I won't be going back...

I can't say I am impressed with this item. It is well built and has a very smooth operation but it just doesn't seem to do much. I used it for 10 minutes and it only cut a few hairs. I did a much better job in only one minute by using scissors. I am even more disappointed that now it has been used, it can't be returned.

I'm not sure if this is exactly the same trimmer I use, but it looks identical. Mine (and probably this) is precision made in Germany and works wonders. Very sharp blades do the trick. It's nice not having to use batteries. My only caveat is: remember to twist the blade very quickly, otherwise it will catch the hair. The feel of this is remarkably substantial...you can feel the ball bearings and tight construction.

I did a much better job in only one minute by using scissors. I am even more disappointed that now it has been used, it can't be returned.

Well made and solid, this simple little tool gets the job done easily and feels great in the hand while doing it.

Solid little unit that, once a personal method has been established, works wonderfully well. Use a bit of patience, as with any good grooming tool, and it will perform as desired.

This is a follow-up to a review I made on 6/15/2010. My previous review was rather harsh and, in retrospect, I wish it were retractable. I have used the trimmer many times since then and I have had no trouble with it whatsoever. I truly can't explain what I was doing with it in order to get such poor results. Now that I have 'learned' how to use it properly, it is an indispensable item in my shaving kit. Smooth action, well built, stays sharp and, IT WORKS! Sorry for the poor review, Fendrihan - please, go ahead and delete my previous comments if you are able to.

Excellent unit, elegant in it's simplicity. I like the two handed use, as it allows for very precise control. Given it's simplistic nature (but very well manufactured and precise fitting), I see this tool lasting beyond my personal expiry date.

This is quite the impressive little unit! I find myself surprised by the cutting mechanism and excellent machining. No nicks or yanks from this friendly fellow.

Inexpensive, very well made, nicely packaged, nothing to wear out, no batteries required ... but how well does it work? Superbly, without nicking or pulling. Outstanding product. And typical outstanding Fendrihan's service. Cheers to all ...

It cuts your nose hairs! It cuts your ear hairs! I bet it would cut other hairs too, but there are razors for that. It doesn't need batteries, it's relatively cheap, it seems pretty much indestructible and it does what is says it does quite well (that is, it cuts nose hair). If you are looking for something that does not cut nose hair, this is not the product for you.

Just got this from Fendrihan and used it for the first time. I'm really happy with it. The fact that it was under $30 and doesn't need batteries is great.

Just got this trimmer. Incredible! Works without issue and very well I have to admit. I used my rechargeable beard trimmer to take care of ear and nose hair until this arrived. I won't be going back...

Very well made product. Works surprisingly better than the battery powered trimmers I have used in the past, which I have found tend to become dull after a year or so. Recommended.

I'm not sure if this is exactly the same trimmer I use, but it looks identical. Mine (and probably this) is precision made in Germany and works wonders. Very sharp blades do the trick. It's nice not having to use batteries. My only caveat is: remember to twist the blade very quickly, otherwise it will catch the hair. The feel of this is remarkably substantial...you can feel the ball bearings and tight construction.

Great well built product, but its only gonna do 80% of the job. Sometime i need to finish the job with scissors. But for the 80%, its fast so i still use it. I do recommend it.

I can't say I am impressed with this item. It is well built and has a very smooth operation but it just doesn't seem to do much. I used it for 10 minutes and it only cut a few hairs. I did a much better job in only one minute by using scissors. I am even more disappointed that now it has been used, it can't be returned.

If you are looking for something that does not cut nose hair, this is not the product for you.

I'm not sure if this is exactly the same trimmer I use, but it looks identical. Mine (and probably this) is precision made in Germany and works wonders. Very sharp blades do the trick. It's nice not having to use batteries. My only caveat is: remember to twist the blade very quickly, otherwise it will catch the hair. The feel of this is remarkably substantial...you can feel the ball bearings and tight construction.
