A hard, dense soap that takes a few minutes, and drops of hot water here and there, to load the brush. Once loaded and moved to a mug, it will whip up into gobs of the thickest, creamiest lather. No shaving cuts, scrapes or irritation possible. The nutty, woodsy scent is so faint as to make this almost fragrance-free, which some may prefer.

As mentioned, a beautiful and subtle aroma and can dry quickly if lather is not built with enough water. This however is and amazing soap and provides unparalleled razor glide with my straights and disposables. Highly recommend.
