Joris-Plisson Shaving Soap in Thuja Wood Bowl

Plisson shaving soap works. It's not going to give you the best lather and best shave of your life, but it works, and it's much better than many of the other soaps out there that I've tried. That being said, it smells fantastic. It has a nice, natural wood smell to it that is both manly and sweet. As you lather with this you will feel truly relaxed. The smell, mixed with the gorgeous thuja wood bowl, is a great combination which, despite it not being the best soap I have, keeps me coming back to it. Add a few drops of glycerine to your lather and you'll get a shave which rivals some of the really great creams and soaps out there. The bowl goes great with Joris' thuja wood handled shaving brush, and even when I'm not using this soap, I like to keep it displayed just because it looks so damned good!
