I was initially hesitant to buy this based on the numerous bad reviews I have read about this soap being hard to lather. I found nothing of the sort. It was quite easy to lather for me and produced a slick creamy lather that though wasn't super thick protected my skin exceptionally well. One of the better soaps I have tried. It also has a really pleasing scent that is not overbearing but very nice at the same time. Highly recommended.

Very High Quality product. Easy to produce a quick lather, it appears this is a long lasting soap compapared to som others I've tried. The scent has a string aroma that is not unappealing and does not last long. The Bowl is good quality as well and presents a nice appearance. I will certainly be back for refills.

At first I was not interested in this product, because of the wool fat description. When I have read many positive reviews, I thought I give it a try. I was not disappointed, it lather and feel different then other top quality shaving soaps, but once the water/soap ratio is dial in, it is fantastic and left my skin feeling baby soft. The scent to me is hard to describe and I can see it being a love it or leave it; it is not overly powerful, it does not feel cheap and I personally like it. I feel comfortable wearing it from construction to a date, or any other occasion and in between and has become one of favorites in my shaving soap rotation.
