I've been using this razor (my first DE) for five months now. I LOVE this thing - what used to be a chore in the morning is now a daily routine that I actually look forward to. The 1904 provides a great shave, and looks really cool to boot. Combined with either Astra Platinums or Feathers it is a shaving tool to be reckoned with, at an unbelievably good price.

Been using this razor for 6 months. Fantastic. Only trouble spot is getting a grip on it when it's wet to change the blade, but it's something I've long ago gotten used to. I get a super shave with this thing. Tried the Astra blades and they're a great value. My favourite blade in this are the Lord blades. Very sharp and they last a long time. I get between 4 and 8 shaves per blade.

i just had the best shave of my life whit that razor,,ill never go back to cheapo cartridge razor.

I bought this razor about a year ago. It was my first safety razor and step into the world of wet shaving. I love the experience and feeling of having a clean and close shave without the irritation. As time progressed the razor showed signs of wear and now I am getting a replacement. While the construction is not the worst, I do agree with the other people who said a razor that unscrews (like this one) is not the best. Eventually the wear resulted in sub-standard shaves and plenty of nicks and cuts on my face. If possible, I recommend investing double the money and going with an adjustable razor.
