If you have a thick or coarse beard then the slant is for you. I've been using it with either feather or merkur blades and the results are excellent. The extra blade that is exposed due to the slant is great for the tricky area under you nose. It will take you a few shaves to master this razor but once you do you will never shave with anything else. If you have a light or spotty beard don't bother with the slant. Advice: On your first slant shave make sure you have a couple of days growth and you will see the slant glide through you beard like nothing. you will also notice how it performs if your beard grows in different directions. 5 stars.

At first, I wasn't sure if my purchase was going to be a waste of money or not but, after a couple of weeks of shaving with it, I am a solid supporter of the slant razor. While I typically like a longer-handled razor, the small slant makes it easy to get to hard-to-reach spots on my face. All in all a solid DE razor.
