I've had this razor since the mid-70's. It has always provided the best of shaves. Easily taken apart, its small size makes it very convenient when travelling. This is my day to day razor. You couldn't ask for a better quality.

This travel razor is amazingly small and compact when disassembled (The picture does not do the justice to the real size). The razor looks great and feels like a regular 33c Merkur razor. The case it comes in is not made of leather though (some synthetic leather-like material), but it is not a big deal for me. Thank you Alfred for a very fast shipping.

A handy travel razor. The bulk and weight presented by my beloved 'Futur' did not make my 'Home razor' a practical travel tool.

This is not so much a review as a question... Has anyone ever taken this as their razor in their carry-on with blades? The TSA site (http://www.seatguru.com/articles/tsa_prohibited_items.php) says it is okay (or at least excluded from being prohibited), but I would like to hear some personal accounts.

I used this razor for over a year in many trips.. and I have to say that even though overall it is great, the head is not very good.... The solution - take the head from Edwin Jagger Classic :).. now it is a great razor...
