Naniwa Waterstones are produced in Osaka, Japan. These water-stones are ideal for achieving perfect edges on your straight razors. They offer a pleasant feel and good feedback when in use.
As all water-stones they wear concave with use and should be flattened periodically on a lapping stone (such as a DMT Dia-Sharp Coarse Bench Stone).
They do not need to be soaked in water; simply splash some on and start sharpening.
All hones come with their own plastic stand.
3000 grit - Ideal for setting the bevel on a dull blade.
