this stone is absolutely beautiful it was bigger than i expected, thicker than i imagined it would be, it is actually a natural combination stone not glued. i honed my 5/8 dovo on it and i conducted the hang hair test it passed with flying colors. this is the stone if u have patience as with all belgian hones it takes a while to cut but it comes with a slurry stone to speed things up..first the coticule with slurry the the bbw then back on the coticule with plain water..works like a charm but every one has their own taste. a good stropping and ready for a close comfortable shave...
