long time crabtree soap user and now i am converted. this stuff whips up stiff and quick and is really a pleasure to use.

From the ingredients to the lathering properties and fragrance, this is the best hard soap I've tried to date (including Institute Karite, D.R. Harris, Trumpers, and Thiers Issard.) It lathers and enhances glide even better than the Harris triple-milled tallow-based line, which is mysterious considering it is purely vegetable-based. I'd liken it to Institut Karite without petroleum derivatives and TI's line in terms of ingredient purity, but with more stable lather (and it has both bentonite clay AND shea butter.) Overall superior, as it doesn't require special effort and brush treatment to develop a quick, lasting foam.
