The Omega Boar Bristle Professional Shaving Brush is a great investment. I have tried it on 4 different shaving creams and 3 different shaving soaps and found that it builds a great lather. Although boar bristles tend to be a little rougher on the face, this brush with its long bristles feels great. The long handle also keeps your fingers out of the lathers. Definitely a must have brush

Greetings, After years of synthetis budget brushes I got this bush as an early Christmas present. I had heard all about how badger brushes are the kings of shaving brushes but I can't justify spending that much on a brush so I asked and recieved this one. All I can say is wow!!! I knew after my previous brushes that I wanted a stiffer bristle, my face seems to like it better than something soft, and I am pleased beyond al meaningful words. My first shave using this bruch and th Col. Conk amber soap I got was the best shave I gave my self hands down. I can't imagine ever wanting to get a badger brush after using this one. Nothing could feel that much better to warrant the MUCH higher price. Get this brush. You will not be dissapointed!

I love this brush. It is like it's smaller cousin with the wood handle. Lathers up very quickly. It has a large long plastic handle which makes it very easy to hold. I like the stiffer bristles. I've been told that they soften up after a few months of use so I may have a different opinion then. But for now, boar bristles are great. It keeps a small manageable size even when it's loaded up with soap. My badger brushes are good too, but they get quite large and fat when they are full of lather. Anyway, bottom line is these boar brushes by Omega are great value and perform well. All you badger brush afficienados should get one just for comparison. You never know you might actually like it.....
