I bought this after using straight razors with replaceable blades. I was bit hesitant to make the switch. I was pleasantly surprised to find out the smooth shave it gave. No need to go for unnecessarily expensive ones. Very good quality with good instructions. My verify first attempt to hone with a compound worked wonderfully well.
