I have to agree with Dan. I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase. It's a real pity they are gone. Also, it came pre-sharpened as advertised. No need to touch it up. I hope Fendrihan can find some more gems like this.

This is my second Wapi and it is as good a performer as my first. All 4 of my regular straight razors are 1/4 ground / wedges and this one fits right in. A really excellent razor - much better than the price would indicate.

I just received my 'Wapi' today. After a five minute finish on my aluminum oxide strop and then my untouched strop, the wapi passed the hanging hair test with flying colors! The first stroke during a shave blew my mind. No resistance, and for the first time ever, no noise as I scraped the bark! I was rewarded with a top notch finish on a one pass shave. The blade is amazing, well balanced, and easy to use! Heck, I can even live with the Faux ivory handle...for now! Thanks Fendrihan!
