I love this pre-shave product, i'm new to SR shaving and this provides that smooth protective barrier on the skin which makes it easier to glide through the hairs. Also has a strong menthol cool sensation on the face. Would buy again

Loved this product before the new formula. After they changed it, it lost whatever protective properties it had. Never had so many nicks using the same blades/razor/brush/soap as I've had with this new formula. The menthol is great, but it can't hold a candle to the old formula.

Excellent pre-shave cream, with a very invigorating cooling sensation that virtually eliminates (for me) any risk of razor burn. I prefer this over the Prep pre-shave, although I found that is also an excellent product. If you haven't tried this, what have you been waiting for?

I am new to the whole DE shaving world. I know this product is amazing, and like other reviewers. . . .I completely agree, the menthol is cooling and has a "wake up affect" . . .It conditions the skin and beard very well prior to shaving. :) Bottom Line: Try it!

I received a small sample of this in my last order and wow what an amazing product. It really makes my skin feel great prior to the shave and afterwards as well. It has an awesome eucalyptus and mint scent. Very powerful. Its like vicks vapor rub for your face. I'm a huge fan! Thanks Fendrihan, I can't wait to receive this in the mail.

As a pre-shave, before-after Proraso cream or Geo. F Trumpers skin food, this stuff does two things. 1. It makes the shave less irritating - it was good before its better now. 2. The skin doesn't dry out all winter This is very good stuff!

Absolutely the finest aftershave I've ever used. Gives you the cooling, energizing hit of an alcohol-based aftershave lotion, but none of the sting. The creamy balm melts into your skin and you don't need any other lotion (though I usually spritz a bit of cologne or dab on some Cool Water or Tabac aftershave for the wife). Most highly recommended.

Proraso pre-shaving cream is a very effective pre-shave treatment. It does a fine job of preparing the beard before shaving and leaves the skin feeling cool and invigorated. The strong Eucalyptus and Menthol scent may suit some but is, in my opinion, too strong – a little too much like Vick’s VapoRub, which also contains Menthol and Eucalyptus oil. Because of this, I much prefer Proraso’s Anti-irritation pre-shave cream. Incidentally, I see nowhere on the product label where it indicates that this product is intended as a post-shave cream. Proraso already offers two wonderful after-shave products; a splash and a balm.

Haven't tried it as a pre shave cream yet, but as a post-shave cream it's top notch. Like Proraso shaving cream, it delivers a chilling sensation and it keeps your face smooth all day. Love the glass container it comes in as well. No shave den is complete without it!

I've used in both pre and post shave and prefer it in the post shave becasue as a cream, I find it tends to "clog" the blade during pre shave despite rinsing with hot water. I've switched to all Proraso shave products though as I find them a cut above (pun intended) the others.

Simply put- this stuff is an absolute requirement. It works well as a pre-shave, but it really shines as an aftershave. It has a great cooling sensation that is just fantastic.

As a pre-shave, before-after Proraso cream or Geo. F Trumpers skin food, this stuff does two things. 1. It makes the shave less irritating - it was good before its better now. 2. The skin doesn't dry out all winter This is very good stuff!

Awesome pre cream. Apply while waiting for my brush to warm up, and it just wakes the face right up. Great for clearing out the airways too!

Absolutely the finest aftershave I've ever used. Gives you the cooling, energizing hit of an alcohol-based aftershave lotion, but none of the sting. The creamy balm melts into your skin and you don't need any other lotion (though I usually spritz a bit of cologne or dab on some Cool Water or Tabac aftershave for the wife). Most highly recommended.

Haven't tried it as a pre shave cream yet, but as a post-shave cream it's top notch. Like Proraso shaving cream, it delivers a chilling sensation and it keeps your face smooth all day. Love the glass container it comes in as well. No shave den is complete without it!

This is the best pre shave on the market regardless of price. Provides great protection, an exceptional and lasting cooling sensation and enhances glide. Great for any user. Just wonderful.

I've used in both pre and post shave and prefer it in the post shave becasue as a cream, I find it tends to "clog" the blade during pre shave despite rinsing with hot water. I've switched to all Proraso shave products though as I find them a cut above (pun intended) the others.

Simply put- this stuff is an absolute requirement. It works well as a pre-shave, but it really shines as an aftershave. It has a great cooling sensation that is just fantastic.

Proraso pre-shaving cream is a very effective pre-shave treatment. It does a fine job of preparing the beard before shaving and leaves the skin feeling cool and invigorated. The strong Eucalyptus and Menthol scent may suit some but is, in my opinion, too strong – a little too much like Vick’s VapoRub, which also contains Menthol and Eucalyptus oil. Because of this, I much prefer Proraso’s Anti-irritation pre-shave cream. Incidentally, I see nowhere on the product label where it indicates that this product is intended as a post-shave cream. Proraso already offers two wonderful after-shave products; a splash and a balm.

Loved this product before the new formula. After they changed it, it lost whatever protective properties it had. Never had so many nicks using the same blades/razor/brush/soap as I've had with this new formula. The menthol is great, but it can't hold a candle to the old formula.

I love this pre-shave product, i'm new to SR shaving and this provides that smooth protective barrier on the skin which makes it easier to glide through the hairs. Also has a strong menthol cool sensation on the face. Would buy again

Excellent pre-shave cream, with a very invigorating cooling sensation that virtually eliminates (for me) any risk of razor burn. I prefer this over the Prep pre-shave, although I found that is also an excellent product. If you haven't tried this, what have you been waiting for?

I am new to the whole DE shaving world. I know this product is amazing, and like other reviewers. . . .I completely agree, the menthol is cooling and has a "wake up affect" . . .It conditions the skin and beard very well prior to shaving. :) Bottom Line: Try it!

I received a small sample of this in my last order and wow what an amazing product. It really makes my skin feel great prior to the shave and afterwards as well. It has an awesome eucalyptus and mint scent. Very powerful. Its like vicks vapor rub for your face. I'm a huge fan! Thanks Fendrihan, I can't wait to receive this in the mail.
