Beautiful build. Nice size. Very soft tips. Great handle shape for my 2XL hands. Lathers my Proraso and Cella creams like a blender making meringue in a copper bowl. Enough for 6+ passes judging by how much goes down the drain after my 3rd pass. Will have to use less cream with this brush in my rotation. Lost 12 hairs out of the box with gentle stroking and a few more the 2nd and 3rd shaves. None after that. Comparing this Simpsons to my other brush, 25mm finest knot, may not be fair. I was hoping for equal backbone with softer tips. Simpsons delivered super soft tips but felt floppy vs my 25mm brush. I guess size matters a lot in a knot when it comes to stiffness. Wish I'd gone to this after my old worn out 18mm boar brush. It would have felt amazing in all respects. Recommended if you are moving up in knot size but not down unless your brush feels too stiff for you.
