What more can be said about TOBS? Not much. It is the most popular cream at Fendrihan's for a reason. Excellent lather, superb cushion and scents that never fail to provide a true barber shop experience each and every shave. Prepping for your shave is THE most important step. Don't skimp here. Buy yourself a tub or two of TOBS (I recommend the Sandalwood) and start treating your face to the pre-shave routine it deserves, that you deserve. Be sure to slow down and take the time to really smell these creams as you shave. Breath it in. Don't rush it. You are living well.

Bought the Lime and Eton College. Both are excellent in terms of value and performance. Both scents are incredible!!

Sandalwood scent is awesome... smells just like you're in a barber shop! Also forms a really rich cream in no time with a Super Badger!!! Highly recommended!

TOBS Avocado - This is my favorite cream so far! Just a little on the brush produces lots of thick, rich lather that cushions and soothes my skin. The smell of Avocado is fresh and clean and reminds me of cucumber. If you have sensitive skin I would suggest trying this even before their sensitive skin products. Definitely my go-to cream from now on.

I love almond shave. I have tried almost all of them. This is the best. The scent is a bit nicer then any. The lather is richer and thicker and longer lasting. The shave is just great. Its the best of the best so far for me.

I've used the Rose and have to say this is very impressive stuff. Loads of thick, rich lather which just make the shaving experience all the more enjoyable. You're doing yourself a disservice if you never try TOBS creams!

I've recently been using the Lavender, and I've (happily) had none of the problems some of the other reviewers have mentioned in respect of the water/cream ratio. I find this cream to be very easy to mix into a perfect lather, which provides great lubrication while shaving. Add to that a great scent and decent price and you've got a winner! (Oh, I bought the 75 ml sized cream from a local retailer - for almost the same price as the 150 ml tub here on Fendrihan. I guess I know where I'll be getting my next one...)

After trying a Cyril R. Salter, Geo F. Trumper, RSC, the Body Shop, and Taylor, I definitely will stick with Taylor's shaving cremes. I particularly like the sandalwood. The shave is excellent and the scent distinctively masculine without being dominant. You are looking for best bang for the buck and some exquisit shaving experience? Try the sandalwood shaving creme and aftershave gel.

I have been using the Lime for quite some time now. It soothing, and very easy to work with. It definitely lessens razor burn for me more than other creams.

Best shave I ever had! Goes on smooth with a shaving brush and smells fantastic, and best of all, no razor burn whatsoever which is a first for me. I suggest using the Eshave lavender after shave balm with it to keep your face feeling smooth all day. This product is worth every penny! You'll never go back to the cheap crap you find in a drug store after trying this.

I use both shaving soaps, and this Taylor of bond street when on the road. First of, the smell (Almond) is just delightful, however I noticed the more you use, the less it smells. The cream itself is thick, smooth and easy to apply, great for people with sensitive skin. Great value for the price, and makes good gift ideas for people who continue to use the shaving cream in the spray can.

I recently purchased the sandalwood in both the shave cream and the aftershave and I am truly impressed. I have tried Proraso, The Body Shop, eshave and Geo F. Trumpeter among some cheaper alternatives and have found this to be the best to date. I plan to continue through the Taylor's line up as the shave cream is of extremely high quality and the scent is delightful.

In regards to the rose scented cream, i can only say that this is a quality product. Thick, and rich cream that lathers very easily. The wrong water/cream ratio will leave you with something fluffy and dry, that gives no slide. Other than that little 'problem' (which every cream I've ever used has had) this is a great cream. The smell is fantastic too

I have a trust and preference for traditional, high quality soaps, from establish and proven European brands; but every once in a while I like to experiment and go outside of the box. I bought Old Taylors' rose cream and I was not disappointed. As I expected, these shaving creams are highly concentrated, and with a quality brush, you will get a thick, lathery and comfortable shave. The rose scent is pleasantly intoxicating, but not overly powerful. I consider the rose scent smell rather conflicting and feminine. I am only comfortable with the scent when I am wearing a classy suit and surrounded by family and friends, or if I am in an establishment where everyone are classically or smartly dressed. But what I like the most about the scent is that I notice that most the ladies, from the very young to very old, are positively and subtlety drawn to the scent; that makes me feel manly.

I recently purchased both the Rose and Sandalwood shave creams. These really are fantastic products, and I even open the tubs for an occasional whiff of either shave cream. A small amount on your brush will produce plenty of lather for 3-4 passes of your blade. I've read elsewhere that some reviewers did not like the tubs , and indeed they are a tad on the plain side. Still - the shave cream itself is a great, quality product.

This is the first Brit cream I've used. Been using popular Italian brands prior to this. Used the Lime scent product three times now. I was kind of disappointed with the Lime scent, it smells exactly like Sunlight dish soap, not too exotic if you ask me. Wish I chose a different scent. Regarding performance, the densest lather I’ve ever achieved with a cheap store-brand brush, it takes on a TON of water. Great lubricating affect and the cushion lasts for about 2min, after that it diminishes as it dries, but that’s usually good for one pass. Feels heavier in oils than most common brands, which must explain the super slick sensation. Left my skin feeling moisturized and supple. Great performance (5 star), too band about the Lime scent (-1 star).

Specifically regarding the Lavender, this is my first experience with this product and I'm not overly impressed. It's not a bad product but I personally don't like it as much as the old standby Proraso. However the smell is nice but subtle. It's also very sensitive to the amount of water you use, I've mixed it a couple of ways just to test this. Too little water and it's very "stiff" too much and it's runny and the range is very small. Either way it doesn't seem to lubricate as well as the Proraso either. If scent and price are more important than ease of use and lubrication this would be a good buy.
