This is an absolutely gorgeous looking razor. The ram horn scales look amazing, and feel great in the hand. The blade itself has a good, heavy weight to it (but not too heavy.) It sits comfortably in the hand and is very easy to handle. I don't think there's a single aspect of this razor that I do not like. I hope it lasts a life-time.

The previous reviewer is correct, this truly is a work of art. I use this razor at least a couple times a week, and every shave is a work of art as well. Buttery smooth, precise and, best of all, it holds it's edge well. The scales are a bit heavy, so the balance point is shifted back a bit, but the scales feel so good in your hand that you wont even notice. Compared to the picture, my scales have much less black in them, and are overall more "ridged", but that is the nature of natural scales, and knowing that know other razor looks like yours is a great feeling. The steel is absolutely immaculate, and with good care, I can see the mirror finish lasting anyone for years and years to come. The size is, dare I say, perfect. The french point can be a bit of a trick to master if you've never used french, spike or square points before, but, being able to trim all those little hard to reach spots is a great plus. The razor coffin is nice, however, I feel that the inside should have had a shaped and padded place that the razor sits securely in. It just feels a bit loose sitting in there. No problem though, this is a razor for using and displaying proudly, not for keeping cooped up in a box!

This is a beautiful blade. I purchased it not for myself, but to give to my son on the day he's born. While I won't let him play with it, I intend to keep it in trust until the day when he can finally use it. Anyone who purchases this razor will truly have an opportunity to hold a work or art.
