Not bad, but not perfect. It as the minimum dimension for a shaving bowl but it is not too small. Light weight. But, like others said, the lid is completely unuseful since it barely stay flat on the bowl. So the lid, in my opinion, is a waste of metal. Buy for the bowl.

This shaving dish is smaller than it appears. Take a look at the measurements before you think about buying it. It tapers quickly from the diameter listed here. That said, it is the perfect size for smaller shave brushes, and I find I use less cream with this bowl. Some don't seem to like how the lid doesn't fit tightly; however, I like this because I don't want water and/or cream remnants to be trapped in an airtight container between shaves.

It's a beautiful shaving bowl and the perfect size but the lid doesn't fit tightly. It fits more like someone said "This one will work" Which is a bummer since I wanted this bowl for my travel shaving kit. I'll use it at home but the poor fitting lid disappointed me for what I intended it for. If you are purchasing this for the bowl, you'll love it, if you want a lidded bowl, look elsewhere.
