Alrighty Then, So I received this Brush, and ya know. . .It has a nice feel, a nice look. The brush has a "prickly" feel. . .Being said however I am only used to "Boar Brushes" since, I am still a DE Rookie *_*. The brush, is definitely softer than the Boar, and still a stiff, like a boar. However. . .as a Previous reviewer mentioned. . ."The Animal" Smell is a bit harsh, But I am going to stick with it, and see what happens after it's broken in, :-)

No plastic or 'pretended wood' on this one. No shedding to speak of. The hair is really nice if you like stiff brush. The quality of the metal part on mine was a bit rough. But again, very nice all over. But you will have to deal with the 'animal smell' for the first few shaves.

Purchased this gem from Fendrihan and I am totally satisfied with it. As a user of both boar and badger hairs, I can honestly say that horse hair is a different experience and takes the best qualities of each. The brush lost 3-4 hairs the first time and not a single hair since then. Highly recommended.
