Progress Vulfix has been producing shaving brushes for over half a century and is the premier manufacturer of badger brushes in the United Kingdom. The company is renowned for its value for money, top of the range products and has gained a first class reputation for service in the wet shaving market.
The company commenced manufacturing over 60 years ago in Manchester. In 1954 its move to the Isle of Man took place at the commencement of a period of industrial development within the Island. Today production is concentrated on medium to high quality shaving brushes and ancilliary shaving products. Today Vulfix employs over 15 people and the processes used in making our brushes haven't changed since the first day we opened. All of our brushes are made in the traditional handmade way. Vulfix Old Original shaving brushes are exported internationally and the company remains a major supplier to many U.K. outlets together with prestigious men grooming outlets throughout the world. The company prides itself as being one of the oldest and well respected shaving brush manufacturers in the world.
All the brushes are handmade and although the majority are stamped Vulfix Old Original, many are produced for other companies and branded with their own individual logo.
