This was my first badger hair brush. I was previously using a synthetic omega brush, and to tell you the truth this Vulfix brush is a nice and noticeable upgrade. It's able to hold a great deal more water and able to whip up a very thick lather. I think when this brush finally wears out I'm going to upgrade to a nice silver tip; I can only imagine the quality that would bring.

Started shaving with a cream and brush last year. The brush I started with was synthetic. This brush is a massive upgrade and really enhances the wet shave experience. I use Proraso cream and the anti-irritation preshave conditioner. Can't say enough about this brush and DE system I now use. Never had a shave so close yet so easy on the skin. Highly recommend this for someone just wanting to start out.
