I chose this set because it was the cheapest I could find and it seemed like a very good value (the brush is a silver tip). Since this was my first DE razor (I used only cartridges before), I thought it was a good idea not to buy something too fancy. Although I have only used it twice so far, I am confident I would not write a different review a year from now. The brush has a high hair density and it seems smoother than what I had been using before (to be fair, I am not an experienced wet shaver and my previous two brushes were a Van der Hagen and a Kingsley pure badger). I was happy with the lather it produced. I was extremely happy with the razor. Before using it I was very worried that I would cut myself, but this razor was very forgiving. It shaves nicely only if one holds it at the correct angle, and otherwise the blade does not make contact with either the skin or beard. It came with a pack of Dorco blades, a case and a small cleaning brush. I had the most comfortable shaves ever (much better than the Gilette fusion which I had been using before), and I am only a newbie DE razor user. I recommend the Weishi razor to anyone who wants to switch from cartridges. The stand will hold nicely both the razor and the brush, and I was nicely surprised to see that my old shaving brush (the Kingsley), also fits very well. As far as the appearance is concerned, one can see that the stand has a slightly different hue than the brush and the razor, so perhaps the three of them were not designed as a set. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase, and I believe this set is great for anyone who wants to try DE wet shaving for the first time.
