Of German manufacture, Wilkinson Sword Double-Edge Safety Razor Blades represent a name that can be dated to 1772. So long as double-edge razors are of modern origin, these razor blades can be fitted onto their handles. However, since these are double-edge razor blades, it is also possible to snap them for mounting on straight razors that use replaceable blades. Each razor blade bundled together in this product comes packaged in paper for additional protection from exposure to moisture. Said razor blades are sharp and more than capable of providing smooth shaves.

I prefer these blades over all others. I regularly use Feather and Astra but nether are as consistent, smooth and forgiving as the Wilkinsons; probably due to the PTFE coating. I won't use a toothed razor with any other blade. If you own a razor that you find overly aggressive try a Wilkinson in it and you just may find your favourite setup.
