Ordered three blanks, only one is salvageable. The steel is not tempered and one of the three was stamped with 'hina' as in China, but with a low quality metal stamp. The marks on the other two were likely ground off and they just missed one. Might take an edge with some work, the problems I had with the two were a bowed spine or an uneven hollow grind.
