When you open it, everything's in its place and not scattered everywhere. I also have the smaller version, and if I could find it, I would guarantee everything is right where it was before I lost it. It's the perfect gift for that hard-to-shop-for someone, and they will love it for years to come. My original set is/was close to fifteen years old and still in almost as good a condition as the day I received it, but not because I babied it. I took it everywhere, from backpacking in the middle of jungles to arid deserts and on some of the highest peaks worldwide! And it's just as at home in a 5-star hotel! Just don't loan it out, or you might never get it back. It's perfect!

I previously applied cream to my neck and upper cheek area with my fingers (I sport a full, but trim beard). The brush is just the right size for this application, not too big. The bowl provides enough space for working up a lather. After an overnight soak in salt water followed by a thorough fresh water rins the brush didn't have any "odor" (that I was warned about) . Everything fits nicely next to the razor on its stand, and the shaving cream. Fendrihan processing to start the shipping was extremely fast! The package was right at the front door a day in advance of the expected delivery date.

I have used matte pomade for decades. I tried this one because my go to brand became so overpriced! Boy am I happy I ventured to another brand. I think this pomade is lighter, application is better and it does not build up on my brush. I am a fan until the price skyrockets!

This no nonsense stand will add years to your brushes shelf life, especially if you use a natural hair one, and want to keep the base and bristle dry. I only use synthetics, and it helps keep these brushes in fine shape. Remember to order a stand that is at least 2 mm larger than the knot.

Heavy Hitter!
This brush is a winner. For its price, I have not used a better brush. It is gentle, but sturdy and whips up a soap or cream lather quickly. Dries quickly, a great brush for home and travel!

My final choice for blades & customer service
After more than a year of trying various blades, I finally settled on Astra platinum. Smooth, sharp, non-irritating (using an open comb), and keeping the edge for at least five shaves (I haven't pressed it further).
