When self-starter Baxter Finley discovered he couldn't find a men's skin lotion back in 1965, he decided to make one himself. That lotion led to the creation of Baxter of California, a company that still prides itself on meeting the needs of men. The company hasn't slowed down since its beginning. It still supplies men with the highest quality products on the market.

Great brush this is the nicest brush I ever used
A luxurious addition to your shaving routine. Having recently switched from a standard replaceable gillette razor, I don't have much to compare to in this review. I have previously used a a cheap brush I picked up at the pharmacy. There is no comparing the two. The silvertip badger hair lathers up perfectly, and the application feels great. As for the review below, that it's 'too soft', I think that might be overstating it. You get enough scrub with this brush, but I can understand wanting a bit more. However, I think that's just minor preference, and even if you want more scrub, this brush is still great. Shaving has never been so enjoyable.
Updated review: I first reviewed this 04/19/2012 when I received the brush (you can see it on this website). I've been using it for many months and have a new perspective. Since the hairs are silvertip they are very soft, luxurious, and whip up lather very well. The handle is heavy, sturdy, and looks beautiful. However the brush has one serious drawback: The hairs are TOO soft. The brush has very little backbone and once loaded with lather, the hairs spread to the side when you apply it to your face. Even holding the base of the hairs with a few fingers doesn't help. The brush does not scrub your face at all and has a lot of trouble working the lather into the whiskers. This issue makes the brush pretty much useless. I regret spending $90 on it -- it's extremely expensive for a brush that doesn't work that well. It's really only good for painting lather. So if you want some backbone, even a little bit, I strongly recommend you do not buy this brush. For a fraction of the cost you can get a soft brush with good backbone.
