I thought I was buying a Solingen product, but there's no Solingen trademark anywhere to be found on it, nor it has the German word for stainless steel (rostfreier stahl) engraved. Instead there is a mark that reads: "inox", meaning "inoxidable" in Spanish. What does a Spanish word has to do with a German product? Also, the blade is dull, so I have to apply a good amount of force to cut the fingernails.
They cut well and are extremely handy for those tight turns around the nail.
this was a gift to a friend's husband. my friend said that he loves using it because of its sharp blades and can cut his toenail easily without having to struggle hard. too bad he does not like to have a pedicure done.
